It is a plant of continue copper casting to produce Electrolytic Copper wire rod, Oxygen free, grade "A". To achieve our objective that is of offering the copper wire rod of the best quality, we mount in beginnings of the year 2000 a complete Outokumpu line from Finland, who were those that developed the technology of Upcast Vertical Casting. For the middle of March it is started up and it began the production of 8mm diameter copper wire rod, oxygen free, high conductivity for the production of electric conductors. We can guarantee the quality of our product, because our suppliers of raw material that are the most recognized industries producers of copper cathodes grade "A" and to the strict process control and quality control that we maintain in our plant. |

Kobrec S.A. from its beginning was supplier of all the plants producers of electric conductors in Ecuador, as well as the manufacturers of magnet wires. All they were satisfied with the quality of our product, reason for that in the year 2001 we become their only rod wire supplier. In 2001 we begin a new stage in the life of our company incorporating foreign clients and it is so in May of the 2001 we carry out our first export. At the moment we have contracts to export to Peru and Chile. |
